dc.description.abstract | This presentation will describe a comprehensive research project entitled “Enhancing Cultures of Safety and Safety Engagement in the Saskatchewan Mining Industry: A Collaborative and Multi-Disciplinary Inquiry”. One of the objectives of this project is the development of a current and comprehensive knowledge-base of existing literature published in this area. To this end, the research team has implemented a scoping review framework. Often librarians are asked to participate on research teams where he/she is responsible for the literature search. This project is unique in that the librarian is part of the overall team who hired, trained, and assisted several research assistants (psychology students) who are responsible for researching, summarising, and ultimately writing the scoping reviews on a number of topics. One of the goals of this project is to grow the research, writing, and analytical expertise amongst our students so they can be better equipped for future research endeavours. | en_US |
