| dc.description.abstract | The kinetic behaviour of the degradation of phenylbutazone in four solvent systems suitable for injection was investigated. The rate constants for the degradation reactions were determined and shelf-lives for the various products were predicted. Chromatography was used to give tentative identifi-cations of degradation products and one such product was positively identified using various analytical techniques. | |
