The article-level usage data included is for three sets of articles from open access journals: metrics as of September 15, 2016 for 591 articles published in PLOS ONE from July 1 to July 7, 2013; metrics as of August 26, 2016 for 165 articles published in PLOS Biology from January 1 to December 31, 2013; metrics as of October 29, 2015 for 17 articles published in BioMed Central journals in 2012. Data for both sets of PLOS articles were obtained openly via ALM Reports.
