Under each one sits a faintly glowing object hovering on a small transparent shelf. Wire runs up the wall from each lamp, crosses above head level and then drops down to the floor where it is attached to an interconnected series of 40 ripe Iemons. Under close inspection the objects on display can be Identified as colourless miniatures of various household appliances, each one bearing a limply hanging cord: blender, vacuum cleaner, computer, toaster, stereo, etc. Their composition is unclear as they look both plastic and waxy.
