This paper describes the results of seven years of research comparing adapted species for their potential usefulness in pastures on black and gray soils. Our research has shown that meadow bromegrass has several attributes which are desirable for pasture including high yield, good regrowth, stable production, ease of establishment, and leafiness. Same questions remaining about meadow bromegrass will be described.en_US
