Researchers working in Indigenous communities should follow ethical and culturally sensitive research practices, based on the following principles: Wellness of community is a primary objective; Observe and abide by local protocols; Equity is needed in supporting and funding knowledge; Intellectual property will remain with communities who will determine what can be shared.
