Abstract
This paper presents information on a computer Decision Support System (DSS) for range, pasture, forage and ruminant livestock production developed by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization of Australia (CSIRO), Division of Plant Industry, Canberra, Australia which is now being adapted for use in North America. A brief description of the software, data entry and simulation is given and examples of simulated output are provided. It is stressed that the DSS is still undergoing development and validation and the accuracy of simulation output cannot be guaranteed until the validation process has been completed.
